Ariana Grande has been forced to cancel a show on her Sweetener tour, telling fans she's experiencing "a lot of pain".
Over the weekend, the pop star gave fans a "gentle heads up" about her condition, explaining she might not be able to make her next show as planned.
"I sound okay, I'm just in a lot of pain and it's difficult to breathe during the show," she wrote on her Instagram Story.
"I just really don't know what's happening with my body right now and need to figure it out.
"Mom and friends are taking care of me. Just a scary feeling."
Grande later updated fans in a teary Instagram video, telling them she had woken up "10 times worse" and couldn't "push through" to perform in Kentucky.
"I am so sad and sorry. I'm so upset but of course obviously, you will be refunded," she continued, through tears.
"I'm just really devastated... Thank you for understanding and sending love...
"I will keep you posted as soon as I know what is going on with my body. Thank you for understanding and I am so sorry."
The 'Thank U, Next' singer later thanked fans for their "kindness and love" on Twitter, telling them she had been brought to tears by their understanding.
