Awkward footage shows the 'Started From The Bottom' rapper performing to a near-silent audience at the Camp Flog Gnaw music festival in Los Angeles.
After finishing his song 'Wu-Tang Forever', Drake can be seen pacing the stage before addressing the crowd's lack of enthusiasm.
"You know, I'mma tell you, like I said... I'm here for you tonight," he said.
"If you want to keep going, I will keep going. What's up?"
The response from festival-goers is undeniably cringe-inducing, even prompting a wince from Drake himself.
Clips circulating online appear to show audience members groaning, booing and even yelling "no!" in response.
Eventually, the Canadian rapper appears to accept his fate, telling the audience: "It's been love," before thanking them for having him and making a hasty exit.
Fellow hip-hop artist Tyler The Creator, who founded Camp Flog Gnaw, took to Twitter to blast those who prompted Drake to finish hit set early.
"I thought bringing one of the biggest artists on the f**king planet to a music festival was fire!" he tweeted, before acknowledging Drake may have not been the best fit for the gig.
"But flipside, a lil tone deaf knowing the specific crowd it drew. Some created a narrative in their head and acted out like assholes..."
"That shit was like mob mentality and cancel culture in real life and I think that shit is f**king trash."
Tyler The Creator also updated his Twitter bio to read: "Embarrassed by fans right now".
