Off the back of the news of their long-awaited reunion, My Chemical Romance has announced they will play one New Zealand show next year.
The early 2000s emo rockers will play at the Outer Fields at Western Springs in Auckland on March 25, following their headline shows at Australia's DownLoad Festival.
It's been 13 years since the 'I'm Not Okay' hitmakers performed in Aotearoa. This time they'll be joined by US band Jimmy Eat World and supported by local acts Midnight Youth and Miss June.
In 2013, My Chemical Romance said 'so long and goodnight' to their fans, ending a more than decade-long reign as the dark princes of the emo music scene.
Last week, the band sent fans into a frenzy with the news of their reunion, tweeting: "Like Phantoms Forever."
Tickets for their Auckland show will go on sale Tuesday November 12.
