Jay-Jay Feeney has documented the moment her new love interest finally touched down in New Zealand after months of teasing his arrival to her fans.
The "international man of mystery" is 28-year-old Minou from Algeria, and Jay-Jay is already making good on her promise to keep her social media followers updated with all the highlights of his first trip to Aotearoa.
"I'm beside myself," Jay-Jay told her followers in an Instagram Story video at 5.30am on Sunday while waiting for her boyfriend at Auckland airport.
Not long after, she uploaded the clip showing Minou abandoning his luggage trolley and running into her arms as she squealed with delight.
Next, the couple embarked on a sight-seeing tour of Auckland, including a trip up the Sky Tower and a walk down Franklin Road to look at the Christmas lights.
In the months preceding Minou's arrival, Jay-Jay taunted fans with cropped photos of the couple that never revealed his face. The More FM radio host cited her partner's "shyness" as the reason for the mystery, but now that he's here, he's happily addressing the camera and her 71,500 Instagram followers.
The couple's next stop on their whirlwind tour of New Zealand is Taupo, where there will no doubt be further social media updates for Jay-Jay's eager fans.
