A US rapper has died aged 21 after he collapsed at an airport in Chicago.
Juice Wrld, whose actual name is Jarad Anthony Higgins, collapsed at Chicago's Midway Airport after disembarking from his flight from California on Sunday morning (local time).
TMZ reports he was taken to hospital and died a short time later.
"Law enforcement sources say he was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics got on scene," reports TMZ.
"The cause of death is unclear at this time."
He performed at last year's Rythym and Vines festival in Gisborne over New Year's Eve.
"Being one of the break out artists of 2018, we were honoured to have Juice Wrld perform at Rhythm and Vines last year," co-founder Hamish Pinkham told Newshub.
"His performance was hotly anticipated, widely attended and will be forever remembered."
Camilla Cabello and Lil Nas X are among those who have paid tribute to Higgins, known for his hit "Lucid Dreams".
"Rip juice," Lil Nas said on Twitter. "So sad how often this is happening lately to young talented rising artists."
