As the 2010s draw to a close, it's time for gamers to look back at the very best games of the decade.
Aggregator website Metacritic constantly monitors critical reviews of every major game release and calculates a numerical score out of 100 for each.
Now, at the end of the decade, we can use Metacritic to find out what were the best reviewed games released between 2010 and 2019.
No game scored 98 or higher on Metacritic during the decade, but five titles placed first equal with 97.
Two of them are from acclaimed studio Rockstar Games, while the other three are Nintendo releases.
Below is a list of the 33 games released over the last 10 years with Metacritic rankings ('Metascores') of 93 or above. When the games have had different scores on different platforms, the highest has been used, and some alternate versions of the same game have been omitted.
