Kiwi musician Benee had a big year in 2019 - and it doesn't seem like it's slowing down.
Her song 'Soaked' spent 22 weeks in the New Zealand Top 40. She then rose to international fame after her song 'Glitter' went viral on TikTok, and then she cleaned up at the New Zealand Video Music Awards, taking home four awards.
The 19-year-old says although the year was overwhelming, she has remained grounded.
"I live in a rock in my room," the teenager told The Project on Tuesday through laughter.
As for avoiding stress, she says her jam-packed diary doesn't bother her.
"I can't or don't really look at it, I try to not look too far ahead because it makes me stressed!"
