Newshub's Samantha Hayes usually reads the news with Mike McRoberts, but on Friday night her five-month-old son Marlow was in the hot seat.
Hayes had brought her boy into the newsroom to meet the Newshub team, and took the chance to sit him at the 6pm bulletin desk.
Marlow looked right at home as he grinned for the camera.
Hayes said she took the picture, fed Marlow who then went home with his dad while she did the real bulletin with McRoberts.
