Matthew McConaughey gave the senior residents of an old folks home the surprise of their life when he hosted special round of bingo just for them, via video conference.
Residents at The Enclave at Round Rock Senior Living asked the Magic Mike star to host a round of their celeb bingo last September. With the world now cooped up at home, the perfect opportunity arose for the Hollywood heavyweight to play bingo with them via Zoom.
"This was a wish come true!" Sales director Molly Davis Nedley told US station KEYE-TV, explaining team members at the old folks home weren't able to interact with residents as they usually would due to the virus.
"The residents absolutely loved seeing Matthew and his family and enjoyed hearing him talk about what he’s doing to get through this crisis."
"It gave them hope and was the boost that they needed to get through this lonely, challenging time."
