A new waiata created in lockdown in just seven days is bringing a smile to people's faces across the country.
'Tūtahi (Stay)' was written and recorded in just a week and features 20 of New Zealand's best and brightest entertainers.
The waiata was made possible by Te Māngai Paaho, the Māori funding agency.
Artists Rob Ruha and Ria Hall told The Hui they wanted to bring joy to families in lock down and appreciate isolation isn't for eveyone.
Ruha says the song is to help lift people who are feeling impacted by loneliness.
