Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has praised Kiwi comedian Melanie Bracewell's uncanny impression of her after it made waves online.
Ardern commented on Bracewell's Instagram page, where she had shared a TikTok she made showing her applying make-up to transform into the Prime Minister.
"You've done my makeup better than I do," Ardern wrote on the clip, which Bracewell said was inspired by online commentators who pointed out the similarities between the two.
"So the Prime Minister saw my TikTok, OMG," Bracewell captioned her next clip, showing a screenshot of the comment Ardern left.
The stand-up comic, writer and TV personality then reprised her portrayal of Ardern to reenact how she imagined the NZ leader would say the comment to her in real life.
Not quite finished with her newfound success as an Ardern look-a-like, Bracewell's latest social media efforts saw her recreate some of the Prime Minister's "most iconic photos", including one in which the role of Donald Trump is played by a carrot.
