Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly more concerned for their safety and privacy than ever after their home in the Hollywood Hills has been the target of low-flying drones.
According to The Daily Beast, a source claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have experienced "unimaginable" levels of intrusion by the media, prompting them to report at least five drone-related incidents to police.
Now without the protection of the Royal Family's security force, Meghan and Harry are said to have arranged their own, but have not been able to prevent drones flying as low as 6m above their home.
The drones are likely operated by paparazzi hoping to take pictures of the couple and their son Archie, but The Blast's source says there's concern the family's safety could be at risk.
"They see these drones coming in at them, and they guess that they are being operated by photographers, but they can't just assume that," the source said.
"Meghan received racist death threats at the time of her wedding, so the terror threat is very real for them."
Harry and Meghan have also been allegedly harassed outside of the home - according to the reports the pair were "tailed, followed and chased" by paparazzi driving "very erratically" while driving in Los Angeles.
"The photographer's car was 5m away from causing a T-bone crash. It was incredibly dangerous, shocking and scary. They were rattled, but they handled it the best way they could," the source said.
"But the reality is people are following and tailing them every day. They are trying not to let the aggressiveness get to them. Protecting their family is their top concern."
