Glee star Lea Michele has angered several of her black former castmates who accused her of bullying and racial discrimination after she tweeted about the Black Lives Matter movement.
In one particularly shocking allegation, Samantha Marie Ware claimed Michele had told coworkers she would "shit in Ware's wig" if given the chance while on the Glee set.
Over the weekend, Michele tweeted about the death of George Floyd, saying his alleged murder by police was "not an isolated incident and it must end".
Ware retweeted Michele along with a furious message in which she said she was traumatised by Michele's microaggressions.
"LMAO remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?! Cause I'll never forget," Ware wrote.
"I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would 'shit in my wig!' amongst other traumatic microaggressions that made me question a career in Hollywood."
Dabier Snell, who also had a part on Glee, recalled a time when the actor wouldn't let her sit at the table with other cast members because she "didn't belong there".
"F**k you Lea," she added.
Two more Glee alumni, Amber Patrice Riley and Alex Newell, responded with telling GIFs which appeared to corroborate Ware and Snell's claims.
A few days after the accusations came out, food company HelloFresh announced they had cut ties with Michele.
"HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind," a tweet from the brand read. "We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele. We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately."
Michele has not yet responded to the accusations and her tweet about George Floyd remains live.
