Reality TV star Harry Jowsey has shared his side of the story after his heartbroken ex Francesca Farago informed the world he had dumped her.
The pair met on Netflix's dating show Too Hot To Handle and after the show declared they remained in love and were looking to get engaged.
Despite a constant influx of steamy couple selfies on both of their Instagram accounts, Farago released a tearful video this week saying she was 'heartbroken' by Harry's decision.
"There was a big reason why I had to end things with Francesca because I was in a very dark point in my life," Jowsey explained in his own YouTube video, entitled 'I broke up with her'.
"We would have the highest highs - the best highs, like, the happiest moments in my entire life were with her. But when things were bad, they were really bad. So every time we would fight, it would just be the worst and most depressed times in my entire life. I can't stress that enough," he said while holding back tears.
"I've never been so sad and so happy in my entire life."
Alluding to the trust issues referenced by Farago in her video, Jowsey insisted he had "only had eyes for Francesca".
"I've never lied to her about anything. I've always had my location shared with her so she can see where I'm at [at] all times."
Farago cited the couple's long distance relationship as a defining reason Jowsey called off the relationship, however his version of events was slightly different.
"Sometimes people change and sometimes you see things in people that you don't want to see and you don't want to be around," he said.
"I had to end it because I knew if I continued to be with Francesca it would end up with her being seriously heartbroken or me continuing to be seriously depressed in the relationship."
Jowsey apologised if fans had been upset by his decision, adding: "You don't just break up with someone for no reason, so just remember that".
The two-time reality dating show participant star concluded his video by addressing his ex directly.
"Francesa, I'm proud of you, you're amazing, you're a superstar. I love you the most. Stay safe and look after yourself, okay?"
