Kiwi choreographer to the stars Parris Goebel has been nominated for an Emmy for her work on Rihanna's iconic 2019 Savage x Fenty fashion show.
"Woke up to the best news!" Goebel wrote in an Instagram post following the Wednesday morning [NZT] nomination announcement.
"I got nominated for an EMMY for my choreography on SAVAGE X FENTY. I definitely just cried my eyes out," she continued.
"Thank you to the incredible dancers and team that help me bring this to life."
The Royal Family Dance Crew founder also extended her thanks to Rihanna for giving her an opportunity to "create with no limits".
Goebel has worked with some of the biggest superstars in the world, including J-Lo, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj - but she credits Rihanna as her favourite celebrity to collaborate with.
Earlier this month, Goebel officially became a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, after being named in the Queen's New Years Honours list in recognition of her services to dance.
The choreographer wasn't the only New Zealander to receive a nod from the prestigious television awards - filmmaker Taika Waititi is also nominated for his voice over work on The Mandalorian.
