Kiwi singer Benee didn't hold back when it came to her feelings about National Party leader Judith Collins during a recent gig in Wellington.
A fan uploaded a TikTok of the moment the 'Supalonely' hitmaker hit out at Collins, asking the crowd: "Guess who was in the airport? Judith Collins... bitch."
"Sorry, that was rude," she followed up, before moving on to the next song.
Earlier in her set, the 20-year-old appeared to chime in on the upcoming cannabis referendum, shouting "make it legal!" in response to someone in the crowd.
In an interview with Newshub earlier this year, Benee praised Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern as a "bloody queen", saying she was grateful to be in New Zealand during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We are so lucky to have the Government that we do... I feel so safe - something the majority of the world right now doesn't feel, which is really sad.
"I'm hoping that our Government and what's happening here can be a good example," she said in May.
Having been forced to cancel live shows and make appearances on the US late night talk show circuit via video rather than in person, Benee is currently back on the road, in the midst of a national tour that will see her play two shows at Auckland's Spark Arena this weekend.
