The official trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen's long-awaited Borat sequel has been released, showing the fictional Kazakhstani journalist's return to America - this time with his daughter in tow.
In the clip, Borat is forced to wear disguises while out in public due to the fame he garnered with his first 'documentary', Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
Fourteen years on from his first adventures in the US, Borat's mission is somewhat different this time - he plans on gifting his daughter to "someone close to the throne" in America, ie Vice President Mike Pence.
There's plenty of the cringe-inducing interactions with Americans that fans of the first film will be excited about, as Borat navigates giving his daughter a makeover, being pulled over by the police and quarantining with a group of strangers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The whole ordeal culminates with Borat crashing Pence's speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February this year. Dressed as Donald Trump, Borat burst in carrying his daughter over his shoulder and yelled: "Mike Pennis, I brought a girl for you!"
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, set to hit Amazon Prime Video on October 23, is directed by Jason Woliner, whose previous credits include episodes of the US version of What We Do in the Shadows as well as Nathan For You and Eagleheart.
The sequel's full title is Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
