Bindi Irwin has shared the first photo of her growing baby bump after announcing in August that she and her husband Chandler Powell are expecting their first child.
The late Steve Irwin's only daughter reported her "baby girl is doing great" in the caption of a snap taken by her "beautiful mum" Terri Irwin.
The 22-year-old mum-to-be said that her baby was "incredibly energetic and always moving around" every time they had an ultrasound scan.
"She's now about the same size as a mountain pygmy-possum. Too cute!" she said of her baby.
Bindi's partner Chandler chimed in with his excitement in the comments section, writing: "She's already growing up so fast and she hasn't even arrived yet. I love you and our baby girl."
The couple have been referring to their impending arrival as their 'Baby Wildlife Warrior'.
Fans of Bindi and her Crocodile Hunter dad sent their well-wishes on Instagram, with several suggesting the baby girl should be called 'Stevie' in tribute to the wildlife expert and television icon, who died in 2006.
"You're just glowing, young lady. Your dad would be so proud," one fan wrote.
"Stevie would be a perfect little name for your little girl. Even if not, your Dad would be so proud of his little girl, and so proud to be a grandad I'm sure. I can imagine the words 'crikey!' coming out," wrote another.
"It sounds like she will have the same energy and enthusiasm your father did!" offered a third.
Bindi and Chandler are expecting their baby in 2021.
