Guns N' Roses have declared "stadium rock is back", announcing an Australasian tour that will see them play shows in Wellington and Dunedin late next year.
The 'November Rain' hitmakers will take to the stage at Wellington's Sky Stadium on November 19 before making their South Island debut at Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium on November 21.
"Now that COVID-related restrictions are easing, New Zealanders can look forward to the return of large-scale stadium events such as this and, let’s face it, Guns N' Roses deliver every single time," he said in a statement.
The band's members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will perform at the shows after last playing on Kiwi shores in 2017 on their Not In This Lifetime tour.
Organisers have stipulated that the events will be held with a commitment to a "COVID safe environment" and will comply with all requirements set out by public health authorities at the time.
Tickets for the New Zealand dates go on sale on November 26 at 10am.
