Jennifer Lopez cried tears of joy learning of Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 US presidential election, exclaiming that it signalled a "new day" for America.
"So happy this morning," an emotional Lopez said in an Instagram Story video.
"Echoing the words of everyone saying that we are headed toward a better day, a more united country, I'm just crying tears of joy."
The 'Let's Get Loud' singer has been outspoken in her support of Biden, having teamed up with her husband Alex Rodriguez for a conversation with the President-elect and his wife Jill on Instagram last month.
"I hope that we all can come together and love each other and appreciate each other. It's a new day," Lopez said of the news of Biden's victory.
"They're saying it's time to heal deep wounds and come together," Lopez added, echoing the words of a news broadcaster in the background.
"We are the United States of America, the greatest country on this planet."
Celebrating Vice President Kamala Harris as the first female and first Black woman to be appointed the role, Lopez said: "History is being made today."
"For all little girls who got loud across the world. It is an amazing, amazing day. God bless everybody," she finished.
The 51-year-old pop star made her thoughts about current President Donald Trump clear in a behind-the-scenes video from her Superbowl Halftime performance earlier this year.
"All I want my girls, the little girls on stage with me and all over the world to know is how to use their voices and be proud of everything they are," she told her team during a prayer circle before the show.
"Other people can try to build walls, keep us out or put us in cages. We are proud to recognise that all of us together are what makes this beautiful country truly great."
