Sia has come out in support of fellow singer FKA Twigs, who has accused her ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf of "relentless abuse", including sexual battery, assault and knowingly giving her an STD.
Sia has now revealed she has also been "emotionally hurt" by LaBeouf, who she says "conned her into an adulterous relationship" while claiming to be single.
"I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away."
The Australian singer also said she was "very proud" of FKA Twigs for speaking out about her relationship with LaBeouf calling her "very courageous".
FKA Twigs is suing LaBeouf for the abuse, citing an incident where he drove recklessly and threatened to crash unless the 'Ego Death' singer professed her love for him. The suit alleges several other incidents including FKA Twigs waking to Labeouf choking her, and being assaulted by him at a gas station.
LaBeouf responded with a statement saying that while "many of the allegations are not true" he had to "accept accountability for those things he had done".
"I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I'm ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say."
