Kim Kardashian has revealed that abolishing the death penalty is "so high" on her list of goals to achieve after becoming a lawyer.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is two years into her law degree and will be due to take the California state bar exam in 2024.
"I'm ramping it up now, so I have [to study] about six hours every day," she told Vogue in an interview filmed at her house.
Titled 'End of an era', the conversation centres on what the mother of four intends to do now that the 20-season run of her reality show has come to an end. The conversation made no mention of Kardashian's recent divorce from husband Kanye West.
"I'm actually not doing an essay, I'm doing this interview instead, so I'm going to have to get up really early tomorrow and write a two-hour essay," Kardashian said in the clip.
"I'm working on a handful of cases. Abolishing the death penalty is like, so high up my list."
The Skims founder also made mention of one of her "clients" Julius Jones, a death row inmate who Kardashian says has been wrongfully incarcerated for 21 years for a murder he did not commit.
"I'm really fighting for [him]," she said. "It really makes you stop and just feel that you can't sit still until they right all of these wrongs."
Kardashian also agreed with Vogue's contributing editor Jonathan Van Meter's suggestion that she could be described as "punk-rock".
"I think so," she said.
"I think 'punk' is just an attitude, it just means you live your life your way, and beat to your own drum, and hopefully that inspires people to want to do that for themselves."
Kardashian and her family have come under fire multiple times for 'living life their own way' during the COVID-19 pandemic, with their many luxurious parties and vacations being dubbed "tone deaf" and "irresponsible" and "insanely selfish" on social media.
In particular, Kardashian caused an uproar when she posted about her 40th birthday trip on Twitter, having she surprised her "closet inner circle" by flying them out to a private tropical island.
"We could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time," Kardashian captioned images of the exorbitant birthday bash.
