At 15, Melanie Blake was told her decision to do work experience at a local record store was an 'embarrassment' and 'a clear example that she wouldn't go far in life.'
But by 21, she was working on the iconic British show Top of the Pops and just six years later had built a reputation as one of the UK's leading music and entertainment managers.
And now, she's got a brand new book.
