Kylie Jenner has revealed her motivation to start her own makeup company began with a clumsy comment from the boy she shared one of her first kisses with.
During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion, the 23-year-old cosmetics mogul said she became "obsessed" with makeup and overlining her lips after the unnamed boy made the remark.
"My love for makeup started with my insecurity with my lips," she explained.
"I had really small lips, and I didn't ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me 'Oh my God, you're such a good kisser but you have such small lips' or something like that."
Jenner said that from then on, she felt "unkissable".
"Then I got an obsession with makeup because I would overline my lips and it would make me feel confident," she said.
Jenner's family seemed surprised by the confession, suggesting she name one of her famous lip kits after the boy in question.
"You should do a collaboration with him!" Kendall Jenner laughed.
Kylie Jenner was named the world's youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes in 2019, a title that the magazine later reneged on after investigating further into the reality star's claims about her net worth.
Still, there's no doubting Jenner's multi-millionaire status, having launched Kylie Cosmetics to great success in 2014, later selling a chunk of the business to Coty for US$600 million in 2019.
