Kiwi pop singer Lorde has announced she's releasing new music this year.
The 'Green Light' artist confirmed her comeback single is called 'Solar Power', unveiling the cover on her official website with the caption: "Arriving in 2021... Patience is a virtue".
The risqué image, shot from below, shows Lorde running along the beach.
She hasn't posted about it on her social media pages, but producer Jack Antanoff shared the same image on his Instagram, in a post that has racked over 18,000 likes.
Lorde hasn't released new music since her second album Melodrama in 2017.
In 2020, the pop star teased the new release in an Instagram post urging people to vote in New Zealand's general election.
While information about the new release is scarce and no official date announced, Lorde's fans have taken to social media to express their excitement.
"LORDE IS COMING," one person wrote.
"I'm not okay," another wrote.
"Good things come to those who wait," praised another.
Although others expressed feeling "weird" about the cover art.
"What kind of cover is that? I can’t be the only one who feels very weird about it," someone pointed out on Twitter.
