Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd have aroused suspicion they could be romantically involved after they were seen on a dinner date together in Los Angeles.
The Hollywood star and Grammy Award winner were snapped by paparazzi leaving Italian eatery Giorgio Baldi separately, but according to Page Six, dined together "for hours".
Jolie, 46, and The Weeknd, 31, sent the rumour mill into overdrive with their outing, with media outlets speculating the unlikely pairing could be Tinsel Town's next power couple.
However, Page Six points out it's just as likely the two could be meeting for business rather than pleasure, as The Weeknd looks to break into Hollywood.
"They're clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date]," an insider reportedly told the tabloid.
"He's definitely focused on getting into the movie business. He has the new HBO series he's starring in," they added, referring to the singer's upcoming role in The Idol alongside Zendaya.
Jolie has been embroiled in a long custody battle with her ex husband Brad Pitt, with whom she shares six children. Dubbed 'Brangelina' by the press, the pair split in 2016. The Maleficent star is rumoured to have been reconnecting with another ex-husband, Johnny Lee Miller, and was spotted leaving his apartment last month.
Meanwhile, The Weeknd has been romantically involved with several famous ladies including Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid. Supermodel Hadid and the singer split for good in 2019, having been on-again-off-again since 2015.
