Jennifer Lopez's rekindled relationship with Ben Affleck might be well and truly out in public, but she's not ready to talk about it in interviews.
The singer sidestepped a question about 'Bennifer' during an interview with the Today Show, where she and Lin-Manuel Miranda were promoting the re-release of their tribute song to the victims of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting.
Interviewer Hoda Kotb noted that J-Lo seemed "happy," adding: "Every time I see a photo of you and Ben, I'm like, 'She looks happier! She looks happier!' Are we happier?"
Taking a long and awkward pause, the 'Love Don't Cost A Thing' singer avoided answering the question entirely, instead replying: "The song is out, five years since we've done it. And I believe that that message of loving one another and coming together and love, is never more relevant than it is right now."
Kotb then played the friend card, telling Lopez: "Wait, it's me you're talking to, you know that?" prompting the pop star to reply: "I know. You can call me, you have my number!"
Lopez and Affleck's reunion has delighted fans. The power couple split in 2004, having called off their wedding after two years together.
The pair were first seen together again not long after Lopez announced her separation from fiancé Alex Rodriguez in April.
