Kiwi singer Gin Wigmore is returning to Aotearoa next year for a five-date tour around the regions along with several festival appearances.
The Los Angeles-based musician, who has recently become a US citizen, will kick off her tour in March 2022, beginning in Hawkes Bay.
The 'Hey Ho' hitmaker will also play in Leigh, Raglan, Gisborne and Nelson, as well as fitting in performances at Homegrown Festival in Wellington and Dunedin's Fortune Festival in early April.
As well as showcasing her greatest hits like 'Oh My', 'Black Sheep' and 'Man Like That', Wigmore will perform her latest single 'Hand Over Heart', written following the loss of her dog Indiana, who was her "best friend and faithful companion".
While living in the US with her family, Wigmore has been writing and recording songs for a new album, set to be released next year.
Gin Wigmore's Regional Tour 2022 dates are as follows:
- March 6 - Black Barn, Hawkes Bay
- March 11 - Leigh Sawmill Cafe, Leigh
- March 12 - Raglan Club, Raglan
- March 18 - Smash Palace, Gisborne
- March 26 - Theatre Royal, Nelson
Wigmore is also appearing at Homegrown in Wellington on March 19 and Fortune Festival in Dunedin on April 2.
Tickets go on sale at noon on Tuesday December 14.
