Marilyn Manson's home was searched by authorities on Monday (US time) amid an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse by multiple women.
According to TMZ, the shock rocker wasn't home when the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and Special Victims Unit executed a search warrant that included a forced entry.
Police reportedly seized media storage units, including hard drives. The investigation was announced in February, when authorities stated detectives would be looking into reports of domestic violence between 2009 - 2011.
The women involved were not formally identified, but many have come forward publicly with accusations of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, as well as testimonials of torture and imprisonment.
Manson, who remains the subject of multiple sexual assault lawsuits, was dropped by his record label Loma Vista records due to the allegations against him. Those began earlier this year when his ex-fiancee Evan Rachel Wood accused him of "grooming her" when she was a teenager and "horrifically abusing her for years".
The 'Tainted Love' hitmaker categorically denied any wrongdoing in a statement released shortly afterwards, calling Wood's claims "horrible distortions of reality" and insisting: "My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners."
