The Full House star was pronounced dead on Sunday (US Time) after authorities responded to the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando.
TMZ claims hotel security discovered him at around 4pm. The Orange County Sheriff's Office confirmed the news.
"Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room," a statement from the sheriff's office read.
"The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case."
The father of three had been touring around the United States and played a show in Jacksonville the night before his death. The following day, he tweeted about the "appreciative audience" and said he was "happily addicted again" to performing live.
Saget was best known for his role as patriarch Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House, which he landed in 1987 and held until the show's first iteration ended in 1995.
John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin and twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen starred alongside him.
Saget reprised his role as Tanner for Netflix's reboot of the iconic franchise, which ended in 2020.
He was also a stand up comedian and host of America's Funniest Home Videos, and more recently, hosted a podcast called Bob Saget's Here for You and appeared as a contestant on The Masked Singer US.
Saget is survived by his wife Kelly Rizzo and three children.
