Celebrity couple Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are officially engaged.
Fox shared a video of the proposal on Instagram, saying the pair had "walked through hell together" and "laughed more than she ever imagined possible" since getting together.
"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree," she captioned the video.
"We asked for magic... we were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."
The Transformers star continued: "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.
"And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes."
Fox concluded by poking fun at the pair's reputation for bizarre rituals and public displays of affection: "And then we drank each other's blood.
Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, celebrated the engagement with his own Instagram post featuring a close up of his fiancee's ring, which features a huge diamond and emerald.
"Yes, in this life and every life," he wrote. "Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me."
"I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: The emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."
Fox and Baker first took their relationship public in June 2020, having met months earlier while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass.
Fox declared she had immediately identified Baker as a "twin flame".
"We're actually two halves of the same soul I think. I said that to him almost immediately. I felt it right away."
Earlier this year, Baker revealed he had a poster of Fox on his bedroom wall growing up, telling GQ: "That's some full circle shit."
Fox was previously married to Brian Austin Green, who she shares three sons with, while Baker has a daughter from a previous relationship.
