Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting a child together.
The pair confirmed the news in photographs taken while they were out in New York City over the weekend, with 33-year-old Rihanna showing off her baby bump through an unbuttoned pink puffer jacket.
In a 2020 interview with British Vogue, the 'Diamonds' singer vowed she would have at least three kids by the age of 42 - with or without a man - and it seems she's now on her way to achieving that goal.
At the time, Rihanna had recently broken up with her boyfriend, Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel. Later that year, reports surfaced that she was dating her longtime friend and fellow chart-topper A$AP Rocky, but the relationship wasn't officially confirmed until the rapper dubbed Rihanna the "love of his life" in an interview with GQ in June last year.
When asked if he saw fatherhood in his future, A$AP Rocky said he thought he would be an "incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad".
"I would have a very fly child," he said. "Very."
In late 2021, Rihanna seemingly shut down pregnancy rumours prompted by her donning a clingy orange dress to be named a national hero of Barbados at a ceremony in December.
The 'Work' hitmaker appeared to respond to a private message from a fan in screenshots shared online, replying to the question "Can I come to the baby shower sis?" by saying: "Haaaaa! Stawwwp! You ain't came to the first 10 baby showers! Y'all breed me every year dammit lol."
This time, however, there's no question the musical power couple are set to become parents as they strolled hand-in-hand for the photo op, smiling at each other and pausing as A$AP Rocky planted a kiss on Rihanna's forehead.
Celebrity photographer Miles Diggs, who was behind the camera, shared a close-up shot of Rihanna's stomach on his Instagram and captioned it simply: "SHE IS!"
