Meghan Markle's father Thomas has condemned her and Prince Harry for snubbing last month's high-profile memorial of his late grandfather, Prince Phillip.
The famous couple decided to remain in the US rather than attend the event in the UK, after having quit royal duties in 2020 and publicly fallen out with Harry's family.
Thomas, who has long been an outspoken critic of his daughter, launched his latest attack against her and her husband on his YouTube channel.
"Attending, giving respect and giving God's grace to Prince Philip for a lifetime of service was very important to the Queen. For them to not show up was a slap in the face to the Queen," he said.
"Unforgivable. The British people won't forgive them for that, and they shouldn't.
"I don't know what the reason was, regardless of [what the reasons why] there is no excuse at all. It's a slap in the face for the Queen, and that's horrible. And of course the British people."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly didn't attend the memorial due to a dispute over their protective security.
Prince Harry is due to travel to the Netherlands later this month to attend the Invictus Games, an international sporting event the duke founded for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.
