Snoop Dogg has cancelled his upcoming concerts in Auckland and Christchurch due to "family obligations" as well as "TV and film projects".
The 'Gin and Juice' hitmaker was set to perform along with support acts Obie Trice, Warren G and D12 at Christchurch's Orangetheory Stadium on Friday, November 4 before heading to Auckland's Trusts Outdoors on Saturday, November 5.
But in a post on his Instagram, the veteran rapper announced that the shows are no longer going ahead and ticketholders can get a full refund.
"Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, including family obligations and upcoming TV and film projects, Snoop Dogg regrets he is canceling all upcoming non-US tour dates for the remainder of 2022," the post reads.
"He was excited to see his fans around the world and apologies to all that had already made plans to see his show. He looks forward to rescheduling dates in the future. Ticket refunds will be available at the original point of purchase.
"Snoop Dogg is still committed to his remaining US tour dates for the rest of 2022."
The Aotearoa concerts were set to be part of the I Wanna Thank Me tour, which is in support of the album of the same name - the rapper's 17th.
Snoop Dogg hasn't performed in New Zealand since 2008, aside from appearing at the Big Day Out as 'Snoop Lion' in 2014.
