A Christchurch dancer has tapped his way onto the world stage, competing on America's Got Talent.
Bayley Graham, 22, auditioned in front of a panel of judges including Simon Cowell to try and get his big break.
Graham has been dancing from a young age and he dreams of having his own show in Las Vegas.
"I just want to perform and make money doing it, so that's pretty much the dream."
He's chasing that dream in Los Angeles, where the judges loved his performance.
"All I do know is you absolutely undersold yourself," Cowell said.
The tap dancer scored himself four yeses through to the next round of the show.
"Getting four yeses was outstanding for me, I thought I would be okay but you just never know with that show."
Bayley is no stranger to the competition circuit, winning titles throughout New Zealand. But he said the judges in America are still intimidating.
"They were definitely scary at first, but they were nice, they were fine."
He's not the first New Zealand act to get four yeses. Back in 2016 it was Tape Face who wowed the judges, making the show's finals, which led to a show in Las Vegas.
"It's just putting yourself anywhere you can to find that next step," Graham told Newshub.
