Gordon Ramsay has sparked backlash after posting a video where he chooses which lamb to slaughter.
The British chef posted on TikTok a clip of him climbing into a lamb pen where he claims "I'm going to eat you".
Ramsay then rubs his hands together while saying "yummy, yum, yum, yum, yum" and then asks the lambs "which one is going in the oven first?"
He then points to his prey and jumps into the pen, startling the farm animals.
The video has been viewed more than 8.6 million times and has over 20,000 comments of contrasting opinions on the clip.
"Ok I am not a vegan or vegetarian but that crosses the line," one person commented.
"Alright, I think Gordon has finally lost it. Someone do something before it's too late," another said.
"Gordon step away from the lambs," a third said.
However, the video may be a dig at Ramsay's famous line "where's the lamb sauce" from an episode of Hell's Kitchen.
"The Lamb sauce was still not found in the making of this video," Ramsay captioned the video.
"He found the lamb but where’s the lamb sauce?" One person commented.
"I'm a vegetarian and even I find this hilarious," another said.
Last year Ramsay announced on TikTok he is moving towards becoming vegan by introducing more vegan dishes into his diet.
He said the move was largely due to the health benefits, noting that his father passed away from a heart attack as a result of a poor diet.
