SIX60 is among Aotearoa's most popular bands, and now they are set to release a new album for their fans to enjoy.
Newshub presenter Mike McRoberts sat down with SIX60's lead singer Matiu Walters to get an exclusive sneak peek of their latest single on the album.
When Walters began writing the latest single 'Before You Leave', he had just become a dad.
"At the time of writing the song, I had just had a baby and I was kind of faced with these thoughts of what I can teach and what I can pass down to my daughter," Walters told McRoberts.
The SIX60 musician said the single is a song everyone can enjoy.
"It's definitely a big anthem that everyone can sing along to and everyone can relate to."
