Jeremy Corbett jokes he sleeps well at night thanks to the cash he keeps from IRD

It's terrible news for those of us who love to sleep flopped onto the bed, face down. An expert has revealed that sleeping on your front is terrible for your body.

It bends your neck at an unnatural angle for hours at a time, which, over time, could lead to a sore neck.

It's also hard on your legs as you have to tense them to remain comfortably in the position.

The sleep expert recommends that if you must sleep on your front, do it without a pillow, which can reduce some of that strain.

Jeremy Corbett admitted on The Project's Te Wiki o te Reo Māori show that he sleeps very comfortably on a mattress filled with the money that was supposed to go to the IRD in tax.

He's always kept that under the radar but felt confident admitting it on national television because, on this night, he was speaking in te reo Maori.

Although Stacey Morrison, as you'll see in the video above, may have put a wee niggle into that plan.
