An upcoming visit to the UK for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is set to cause a lot of tension for the Royal Family, a royal expert claims.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in the UK attending a variety of charity events and a royal expert has claimed Prince William and Kate Middleton are going to try to avoid them during the entirety of their trip.

Author of The Day Diana Died Christopher Andersen told US Weekly the estranged royals will be playing a game of "royal hide and seek".

Andersen added the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will eventually come into contact with Harry and Meghan but there won't be much of an interaction between the couples.

"They're going to be, literally, a brief stroll each other on the grounds of Windsor because the Cambridges have to [return in time to get their] kids in school," Andersen told US Weekly.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have had a rocky relationship with Prince Harry and Markle ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to step away from their royal duties and move to the United States in 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been very vocal about how they were treated by the Royal Family and the reasoning behind why they decided to leave.

Prince Harry reportedly has a book set to be released which the Royal Family has "very real fears" it could destabilise the monarchy by undermining the reputation of Prince Charles when he ascends the throne.

The royal expert told US Weekly: "They don't wanna see each other because everybody's worried about the [Duke of Sussex's upcoming memoir]. Harry's book is gonna be loaded with, obviously, bombshells."

The memoir is scheduled to be published later this year.
