John Cena has been announced as the cover star of WWE 2K23, which is set to be released in March.
A different image of the legendary wrestler will feature on each of the game's three versions - the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition and the Icon Edition - which are coming to both current and previous-generation consoles.
The game will celebrate Cena's career with a refreshed Showcase mode that allows players to revisit his most iconic matches, with new commentary from the man himself.
"It is a pleasure to tell the story of my career through the WWE 2K23 Showcase," he said in a media release.
"2K has done a fantastic job capturing and invigorating the WWE 2K franchise through this concept, and I am honoured to grace the cover of WWE 2K23."
Cena, in addition to being a 16-time WWE World Champion, has forged a successful acting career outside of the ring that includes the likes of Peacemaker and Fast & Furious 9. He's also a record-setting philanthropist.
WWE 2K23 will also introduce an official WarGames mode that lets players engage in three-versus-three and four-versus-four matches either in single-player or multiplayer.
Musician Bad Bunny will feature in the game alongside the likes of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.
It will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One, and PC. The Deluxe Edition and Icon Edition are scheduled for worldwide release on March 14 followed by the Standard Edition on March 17.
