One of the stars of hit Netflix series Stranger Things has come out as gay.
Noah Schnapp - who plays Will Byers - shared a TikTok video of himself lying in bed with a hoodie on.
Text above him said: "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know'".
The actor also captioned the TikTok: "I guess I'm more similar to Will than I thought", as he had confirmed in 2022 the character he played was also gay.
Several people commented on Schnapp's TikTok about how proud they were of him.
"I'm sure it was a huge weight lifted off your shoulders. Enjoy the relief and welcome," one person commented.
Glee actor Kevin McHale commented: "Proud of you" and another person commented: "Live yo life king."
At the time of publishing Schnapp's TikTok has been viewed 17 million times and has over three million likes.
