Prince Harry's highly-anticipated interview with US talk show host Anderson Cooper will be screened exclusively on Three and ThreeNow in a fast-tracked first for New Zealand.
This is his first US television one-on-one interview, and will air on Monday 9 January at 7pm.
The 60 Minutes interview is expected to discuss intimate details of the royal collapse shared in Prince Harry's memoir Spare, which is set for release on January 10.
Prince Harry is candid about his reason for speaking publicly, saying he has been trying to keep his conversations with the British royal family private.
However, to combat stories in the tabloids, he's now been forced to make his concerns public.
A Spanish-language version of the Duke of Sussex's memoir sold in bookstores in Spain ahead of its official launch date has revealed shock after shock.
Amid the claims Harry makes in his book are that his brother and heir to the throne Prince William physically attacked him during a row over Meghan Markle, leaving him with bruises on his back after he was "knocked to the floor".
He also stated he lost his virginity when he was 17 to an older woman in a field behind a busy UK pub.
He didn't name the woman in the book, saying only it was a "humiliating episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion".
He also said when he was 17 he was offered a line of cocaine at someone's house and consumed the drug on several other occasions, although he insists media reports suggesting he was a drug addict were false and that he did not enjoy it.
