The myth, the man, the legend is back on the big screen and John Wick fans are in quite the lather.
It's the fourth epic instalment and once again reunites two longtime friends and The Matrix legends, Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne.
"Keanu and I are brothers," Fishburne told Newshub.
"I feel like we are bonded through these experiences which have really moved people and changed things. We made a movie which kind of changed movies together.
"We love each other, we respect each other, we love what we do and we are also very much aware of the fact that we are really really blessed and lucky to be doing what we do."
Blessed and lucky also describes the fact that Reeves has somehow survived the next-level death-defying action scenes in John Wick: Chapter 4.
It took months of preparation and physical training to achieve the film's operatic stunt choreography as well as Reeves placing 100 percent trust in director Chad Stahelski.
"He's very aware of my strengths and weaknesses," said Reeves.
"Like a good coach he puts me in the right situation, you know what I mean? He doesn't put me in a situation to fail, he tries to put me into a situation to succeed.
"It's not gonna be easy, but he's giving me a fighting chance."
In the fourth movie, Wick uncovers a path to defeating The High Table; but before he can earn his freedom, he must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.
John Wick: Chapter 4 opened in New Zealand cinemas this week.
