Megan Fox has revealed she had a "very difficult" miscarriage with fiance Machine Gun Kelly.
The Transformers actress has released a book of poetry called Pretty Boys Are Poisonous in which she wrote two poems about a miscarriage.
During publicity for the book on Good Morning America, Fox spoke more openly about it, saying it "sent us on a wild journey".
"I've never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately - trying to navigate, 'What does this mean?' and 'Why did this happen?'" she said.
In the book, Fox wrote about an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks and a day, sharing, "maybe if you hadn't - maybe if I had."
She also wrote about the toll emotionally it had had in another poem.
"I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh," she said in one.
"But now / I have to say / goodbye."
Another stanza in the poem imagined holding the baby "as they rip you from my insides."
"I will pay any price," writes Fox. "Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?"
Fox also wrote about being part of abusive relationships in the book, telling Good Morning America it was something she needed to get out of her as it was making her sick.
Fox already shares three children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
