The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared an Anzac message honouring the New Zealanders and Australians who died in military operations.
It was published on the X (Twitter) account of Kensington Palace, which represents William and Kate.
"On Anzac Day we remember all Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in military operations. Lest We Forget," the post reads, along with emojis of the flags of both countries.
Aotearoa and Australia both remain member states of the Commonwealth of Nations, a political association of 54 member states, most of which are former territories of the British Empire.
The head of the Commonwealth is King Charles, which means he is also head of state for both Aotearoa and Australia. William is next in line for the throne.
The Anzac message from William and Kate comes days after a post celebrating the sixth birthday of their son Louis.
It has been a challenging year for the royal family as Kate announced she was in the early stages of "preventive chemotherapy" for cancer last month, following a photo editing scandal in which Kate apologised to the public for manipulating a family photo which was then supplied to news agencies.
