Two new Zika cases in NZ

There are two new cases of the Zika virus in Canterbury.

Two Ashburton women in their 30s contracted Zika while in Samoa.

There have now been more than 30 cases reported in New Zealand this year.

The mosquito-borne virus can cause a fever, rash, joint pain and birth defects.
