A bride dumped her husband-to-be on the morning of their wedding after finding out he had not paid for the wedding venue.
Harriet Butler, 32, called off the wedding when she found out her fiancé Kevin Rogers, 41, lied about the unpaid bill, The Mail on Sunday reports.
However she still threw a party for guests at their honeymoon venue at her house in Cornwall, in the UK.
"Because everyone was here, I just thought we should make a day of it," Ms Butler told The Mail on Sunday.
"I wasn't going to let this be a horrible day so I put on my wedding dress, the bridesmaids put on their outfits, everyone else dressed up and the photographer came round too.
"Everyone was being really positive for me. But I did stop a couple of times and think that it was all a little bit surreal."
The pair had been together since 2015 and have a two-year-old daughter together.
Mr Rogers has said the incident left him heartbroken but he didn't want to worry Ms Butler with his financial struggles.
