A dissatisfied traveller has shared a photo of his "appaling" airport breakfast on social media.
Reddit user M1BG posted the picture of the £5.70 (NZ$10.98) breakfast from Friska, a restaurant inside Luton Airport in Bedfordshire, England.
The meal came in a cardboard box and consisted of two small triangles of pale toast, and three terribly poached eggs loose in the carton.
Two of the eggs had very little white left, and two of them were covered in pepper.
"I was hoping a little more effort would have gone into my eggs on toast breakfast," the user wrote.
Commenters said the dish was more "eggs near toast" than eggs on toast.
Friska told The Daily Mail it had tried to contact the customer to apologise.
A Friska spokesperson said the meal didn't meet their usual standards and they will be in touch with the team who served it.
