Kiwi cinema goers now have the chance to eat some of Feildel's gourmet creations, while enjoying a movie. Win win!
The My Kitchen Rules judge has released a new menu for those attending HOYTS LUX at Botany Downs or Sylvia Park in Auckland, or Te Awa in Hamilton.
Feildel says the menu include cinema favourites with a twist, as well as new dishes that touch on the celebrity chef's French heritage.
"My current passion is to bring restaurant quality food to a casual dining experience and what better way to do this than as part of the HOYTS LUX cinema experience," says Feildel.
"The menu is inspired by my background and what I would like to be able to order in the cinema personally as well as classics that people always look for when going to see a movie."
He says his favourite dish is the duck bao: a trio of steamed buns filled with crispy confit duck, house made shiitake, cucumber pickle, complete with ginger mayo and a smoky hoisin sauce.
Other dishes include a classic cheese burger, the 'Frenchy Dog', and a sticky and saucy serve of Southern-style Fried Chicken.
Manu's love of a sweet finish also shines through with the inclusion of delectable desserts such as an Orange and Dark Chocolate Brioche Pudding, French Lemon Cheesecake Smash and Twice Cooked Chocolate Soufflé.
