A woman has become an overnight sensation after convincing a guy on Tinder they had the same number, so she didn't have to text him anymore.
Confused? So was Patrick, according to the screenshots Hannah posted on her Twitter account "I just convinced a tinder boy we had the same number so i didn't have to text him," she captioned the post.

After offering his number, Hannah told him, "Wait, WTF. That's my number."
The man, in disbelief responded, "That's impossible...Call that number right now."

Hannah then told him to text her "to see what happens". "I'm texting myself," Patrick responded. "Try calling me real quick."
The confusion only continued as Hannah lied and said that when she called his number it went straight to her voicemail box.
"Same with me actually," Patrick said. "This is so weird. I have had this number since middle school."
Eventually Hannah and Patrick came to the mutual realisation their provider must have given them the same number.
"I wish I could call you," Patrick sadly ended the conversation.
The tweet has since garnered over 580,000 likes and 135,000 retweets.
